The studio
Welcome to my small studio.
In a small studio surrounded by trees, I create original pieces you will not find anywhere else.
Every Jasmi Toys piece begins with nature. With soft merino wool, a unique piece of wood, and an idea shaped by the colours, forms and atmosphere of the forest. Sometimes it begins with an unusual grain in the wood, sometimes with the curve of a branch, the shade of moss, or a fairy tale waiting to take form.
The wood I work with is never just a material. Each piece has its own structure, character and story. Its natural grain often decides what it will become: a little house, a tree, a landscape, or a world where imagination can come to life.

First idea
Every piece begins with a hand-drawn sketch. A small study of colours, shapes and the story the piece will carry.
Wool & wood
I work with pure merino wool and carefully selected pieces of natural wood. Each piece of wood is chosen for its unique grain, shape and character.
Shaping by hand
Through wet felting, needle felting, carving and gentle shaping, the piece slowly begins to find its form. This is where the material becomes a little world of its own.
Final details
The finishing touches are added by hand, from small stitched accents to the final composition. Before leaving the studio, each piece is carefully checked and signed.
