How I work
Through wet felting, needle felting and carving, I shape wool and wood into trees, playscapes and whole little worlds. Each one is checked and signed before it leaves the studio.
I also work with wool hand-dyed by independent fibre artists. These art batts have colours no machine can make, so every piece carries a little extra one-of-a-kind character.
Who the pieces are for
Families who love natural materials, collectors of handmade work, and educators: Waldorf and Steiner kindergartens, Montessori and Reggio Emilia settings, natural toy shops and sensory rooms. My pieces already live in homes and kindergartens far from my studio, including Kinderoo Children's Academy in the United States.
What I believe in
- Handwork and slow making
- Nature and natural materials
- Fantasy and open-ended play
- Every piece one of a kind
