Is Jasmi Toys an online shop?
No. The website is a gallery of original handmade pieces. Every commission or sale of a finished piece is agreed personally by e-mail or on Instagram, and an order is created only when we both confirm price, look and delivery date.
What are the pieces made of?
Natural wool, including hand-dyed art batts from independent fibre artists, and carefully selected wood. No plastic and no mass production.
Who makes them?
Every piece is made by one pair of hands in a small studio in Czechia, using wet felting, needle felting and carving. Each one is checked and signed before it leaves the studio.
What age are the pieces for?
They are decorative originals and for imaginative play by children aged 3 and over, under adult supervision. Many include small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years (36 months). They are not safety-tested toys under EU Directive 2009/48/EC or US CPSIA / ASTM F963.
How much do pieces cost?
Prices on the website are indicative. The pieces shown range from small seasonal gates at 45 USD and playmats from 149 USD to larger scenes on request. The final price is confirmed in writing.
Can you make a custom piece?
Yes. I can adapt sizes, colours, seasons and themes, for example a playmat made to measure for a shelf. For custom work a reasonable deposit may be requested.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, or by another method we agree on. Custom work may need a deposit before I start.
Do you ship to the USA, Japan and Europe?
Yes. Shipping is arranged individually for each order, usually with Czech Post or another carrier. My pieces already live in homes and kindergartens far from my studio, including a school in the United States.
How long does it take?
Delivery time is agreed in advance and depends on the piece and my current workload. Wholesale orders usually take 3 to 6 weeks.
Can I return a piece?
A finished piece bought remotely can be returned within 14 days of delivery if it is undamaged. Custom-made pieces cannot be returned under Czech law (Civil Code § 1837 d).
What if a parcel arrives damaged?
Please take photos, file a damage report with the carrier and write to me. We will solve it together.
Do you sell wholesale to schools and shops?
Yes. Minimum order is 500 USD, wholesale prices are 40% below retail, with a 50% deposit to begin and the balance before shipping. Lead time is 3 to 6 weeks.
Which schools use Jasmi Toys?
Waldorf and Steiner kindergartens, Montessori and Reggio Emilia settings, natural toy shops and sensory rooms. One of them is Kinderoo Children's Academy in the United States.
How do I care for wool and wood?
Spot-clean wool gently with a cloth, cool water and a little mild soap, dry flat, and keep pieces away from open flame. Dry or pale wood can be refreshed with a little food-safe oil or beeswax polish on a soft cloth.
